The mission

Our Account Executive will represent Caravelo in front of prospects and will be responsible for leading and closing sales processes with the biggest enterprises in the travel vertical. Throughout the long sales cycle, will conduct impeccable sales meetings and manage multiple stakeholders (mainly VP, SVP and C-level) to uncover true pains, match them with Caravelo value proposition and close big contracts that generate long-lasting and profitable relationships.

As an experienced Account Executive, you will also contribute with improvements in the sales materials and process based on market feedback and act as a role model for more junior profiles.

You will work in close coordination with the Sales team, but also engage with other parts of the organization including the CEO to keep the whole company in sync with Sales.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Identify and close new business opportunities with key enterprise customers, with a focus on large, strategic accounts in the airline industry.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy including identifying and targeting key decision-makers at potential enterprise customers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor to help customers solve business problems and drive revenue growth.

  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to close, including developing and delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and account plans that drive revenue growth.

  • Achieve or exceed revenue targets, and provide regular updates on pipeline, forecast, and closed deals to the senior management team.

  • Act as a key member of the sales team that will be critical to the success of Caravelo in 2023 and beyond.

  • Build and manage relationships with key partners to help drive new business opportunities.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and to stay ahead of the competition.

  • Be comfortable meeting with C-level executives face-to-face and be able to convey the company's value proposition with the right pitch.

Required skills and experience

Must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of on-quota, B2B SaaS sales experience with a minimum deal size of 250K ACV.

  • Relevant experience selling SaaS to the Travel industry (preferably airlines)

  • Several multi-million dollar contracts closed with large enterprises.

  • You have gone through a rapid expansion phase of a SaaS scale-up and were a key contributor to its revenue growth.

  • You have international experience and mindset.

  • You have a hands-on attitude, you're ambitious and passionate.

  • You're a great team worker, with good verbal and written communication (fluent English is a must, other languages are a good plus) that also knows how to work independently and thrives in

  • You have world-class presentation skills and the ability to effectively articulate value propositions.

  • You can demonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. strong business acumen).

  • You are highly persuasive with a likeability factor.

  • You have excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities.

  • You're able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, and you're highly resourceful when needed to overcome barriers and objections.
