The mission
We’re looking for a hands-on IT & Cloud Operations Intern (DevOps) to support our day-to-day operations and help keep everything running smoothly while one of our team members is on leave. This role is a mix of Workplace IT, Cloud Operations, and Security/IAM support, with the opportunity to learn fast and contribute to meaningful improvements.
You’ll work closely with Marcelo (Senior DevOps Engineer) and collaborate with Engineering, and Professional Services becoming a key point of contact for operational support.
Duties and responsibilities
Day-to-day
Support employee onboarding/offboarding (laptops, accounts, VPN, WiFi, access to tools)
Help troubleshoot basic IT and systems issues (devices, connectivity, permissions)
Assist with cloud monitoring checks and incident escalation
Support routine cloud maintenance tasks (following existing runbooks)
Help with cloud hygiene: cleanups, audits, tagging, and basic cost control
Assist in managing access requests and permissions, always following security policies
Learning & DevOps exposure

Work alongside Marcelo on:
monitoring and alerting improvements
multi-cloud operational tasks
infrastructure documentation and runbooks
Support early-stage Identity & Access Management initiatives (Active Directory / Identity Center foundations)
Help automate simple repetitive tasks using scripts or tooling
Gain exposure to DevOps practices (monitoring, reliability, security, automation)
Cross-team support
Act as a support point for Engineering, Professional Services, and Pre-sales teams
Learn how to communicate and prioritise operational requests in a startup environment
Projects & learning opportunities
Depending on your progress and interest, you may contribute to projects such as:
Improving the monitoring and alerting system (dashboards, alerts, escalation flows)
Supporting multi-cloud operational tasks
Assisting in discovery/documentation for Identity Management improvements (ID Center / Active Directory foundations
Automation and scripting to reduce manual tasks
Required skills and experience
Must-have
Currently enrolled in a degree/master’s program (Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or similar)
Comfortable with basic IT operations: laptops, networking basics, VPN, troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of Linux administration (users, permissions, services, logs, CLI basics)
Basic understanding of Docker containers (running containers, images, basic troubleshooting)
Interest in cloud technologies and DevOps/SRE fundamentals
Strong ownership and willingness to learn fast
Good communication skills (you’ll interact with multiple teams)
Nice-to-have
Any experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Basic scripting experience (Bash, Python)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.)
Understanding of IAM concepts (roles, permissions, least privilege)
Experience with ticketing/documentation (Jira, Confluence, Notion, etc.)
Experience with container tooling beyond basics (Docker Compose, basic CI/CD pipelines)
