Duties and responsibilities
Data Monitoring & Analysis
Monitor and analyze data related to platform usage, incidents, and operational performance.
Use Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas) to analyze trends, identify anomalies, and support data-driven decisions.
Use basic Python scripts to support data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational workflows.
Work with internal databases at a basic level (e.g. writing simple SQL queries, reviewing logs or datasets) to extract relevant insights.
Validate data accuracy and consistency across different sources.
Impact Assessment & Reporting
Quantify the business and operational impact of incidents, system changes, or product updates.
Prepare clear summaries, dashboards, or reports to support internal decision-making.
Assist in defining key metrics and tracking performance over time.
Customer Operations Support
Support the Customer Operations team in organizing and prioritizing day-to-day work.
Help collect, structure, and track tasks, deadlines, and delivery dates.
Assist in coordinating priorities and urgent requests, providing visibility to the team.
Support Victor in managing daily operational workload and improving task tracking and processes.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Support, Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Operations teams on a daily basis.
Support investigations by providing data analysis when issues or incidents arise.
Translate data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Systems & Product Understanding
Gain a strong understanding of Caravelo’s platform, products, and subscription models.
Learn how different systems interact and how changes in one area affect data and performance elsewhere.
Contribute to identifying data gaps or inconsistencies across systems.
Process & Data Quality Improvement
Contribute to improving data processes, documentation, and internal data sources.
Help standardize reports and analytical workflows.
Proactively suggest improvements in how data is collected, analyzed, automated, or communicated.
Required skills and experience
Important: Must be eligible to sign a full-time internship agreement with a university or educational institution.
Strong analytical mindset and interest in data and operational analysis.
Organized and structured, with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working with data tools, especially Excel; basic SQL and Python knowledge is a plus.
Problem-solving oriented and eager to understand how systems and processes work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, understand priorities, and support fast-paced operational environments.
Collaborative and communicative, able to explain insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
Strong English skills in an international environment.
Background in Engineering, Data, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
