Mission highlights

The Sales Development Representative identifies prospects, generates new business opportunities and nurtures leads in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams to support the company’s growth targets.

Reporting line

You will report to the Head of Sales, Matteo Greco

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads via cold calls, emails and social media,
  • Understand prospects’ needs, challenges and decision criteria,
  • Clearly communicate the value of our solution,
  • Schedule and conduct discovery calls with qualified leads,
  • Ensure smooth handoff to the Sales team,
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM,
  • Nurture relationships through ongoing follow-ups,
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and product updates,
  • Manage the sales pipeline using sales automation tools and tracking metrics,
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and optimize lead generation strategies,
  • Represent Carbon Maps at events, conferences, and trade shows.

Profile

  • 2+ years in SaaS business development,
  • Fluent in French and English,
  • Skilled with CRMs, sales tools (incl. LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and automations tools,
  • Strong track record in hitting targets and driving growth,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication,
  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
