Senior Product Manager
About us
Legl is a fast-growing, B2B regtech/fintech platform with a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We’re backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe (Series B) and we are scaling quickly on our next phase of growth.
Our mission is to make legal services work better for law firms and their clients. Since launching just over 4 years ago, we’re proud to partner with over 450 law firms, including 40 of the UK’s top 200, and some of their regulated clients as well.
The Legl team is agile, ambitious, and collaborative. We’re not an environment that suits everyone - we thrive on breaking down problems to their essence, understanding the customer, making decisions quickly, and the mindset that every day matters. For the right individuals, this is an opportunity to thrive, be rewarded, and work on exciting, impactful projects alongside talented, like-minded people, while learning and developing at a fast pace.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of products that solve high-impact problems for our customers - ideally with experience in B2B SaaS, with bonus points for LegalTech or fintech.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our product roadmap with a strong focus on commercial outcomes, delivery and customer value. You build, ship and own business value, not just features.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be an equal member of a cross-functional squad, helping the team deeply understand the problem space and user context. You’ll drive data-informed decisions across the entire product lifecycle – from inception to delivery and post-launch evaluation – and you’ll champion the impact of our products at every stage.
You’ll feed into roadmap prioritisation, constantly looking for opportunities to test hypotheses, learn quickly, and ensure that solutions deliver tangible value. You balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic ability to ship meaningful improvements at pace.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Customer & Business Value: Lead your squad to build products that drive meaningful outcomes for customers and measurable impact for the business, particularly in areas related to Payments compliance.
Shape our roadmap: Help prioritise workstreams based on market intelligence, customer insight, and strategic alignment, ensuring the team is focused on the highest-value problems as part of a collective decision-making process.
Champion Delivery: Drive execution through collaborative product development, hypothesis testing, and a rigorous approach to experimentation and learning.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment from discovery through to launch and go-to-market.
What success looks like after 3 months:
Developed a strong understanding of Legl’s product, integration capabilities, and LegalTech context - especially around the systems we integrate with and how law firms use them.
Built trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, and are seen as a reliable go-to for anything integration-related.
Has taken ownership of active integration projects and is driving them forward effectively.
Established credibility with key customer and partner stakeholders by engaging confidently and constructively in integration-related conversations.
About you:
Have solid experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, ideally in B2B; LegalTech or fintech exposure is a plus but not essential.
Think in terms of revenue, retention, margin and risk, and are comfortable making trade-offs in service of these.
Have a track record of building and shipping products that move business metrics, not just shipping features.
Naturally connect customer problems to measurable outcomes (e.g. ARR, NRR, win rate, adoption, time-to-value).
Are not an engineer, but are comfortable with concepts like APIs, webhooks, authentication flows and data formats, and work effectively with engineers.
Are structured and organised, document your work clearly, and communicate in a way that brings others with you.
Legl might not be the place for you if:
You're not driven by personal growth, high expectations, or if you struggle with ambiguity and change- our environment thrives on pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and adapting quickly.
But it most certainly will be if:
You’re adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced setting where priorities shift quickly. Pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and striving for more comes naturally to you. You respond to change with ease and can pivot swiftly with minimal guidance.
What’s in it for you:
- We all share in Legl’s success. Everyone at Legl receives a competitive salary & share options.
- £250 per year wellbeing budget to spend on anything which contributes to you being your best self
- Access to support sessions with a professional therapist
- £1,000 per year L&D budget to prioritise your continued development.
- We love to get together regularly: from Hackathons to Summer & Winter Parties
- An opportunity to join a well-funded, highly ambitious post-Series B startup
Diversity
At Legl, we believe that diversity drives innovation and success. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. By embracing diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences, we strengthen our ability to deliver meaningful solutions. We actively encourage applications from individuals of underrepresented communities and are dedicated to creating a workplace where all voices are heard, valued, and respected.
