Let’s fix hospitality, for good.

Running restaurants in the US is brutal - margins are razor thin, waste is high, and teams are stretched to the limit. But it doesn’t have to be this hard. That’s why we built Nory.

Our CEO, Conor, knows the pain first-hand. After founding and scaling Mad Egg in Ireland, he got tired of juggling “market-leading” systems, clunky spreadsheets, and endless printouts. So he built the tool he wished he’d had from day one.

Nory is the all-knowing restaurant management system. It blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics, giving operators control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it’s operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with consistency, certainty, and profit. The result? Thriving restaurants, better jobs, less waste, stronger margins.

And we’re just getting started. Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik and Accel, we’ve grown to 70+ people across Ireland, the UK, and Spain - and now we’re bringing Nory to the US.

We’re now looking for a Chief of Staff to join our CEO’s Office. In this role, you’ll partner directly with the CEO to shape and execute Nory’s US expansion — taking us from 0 to 1 in a high-growth, post-Series B environment. This is a VP-level role, designed for someone who can operate independently, create clarity from ambiguity, and deliver real impact at speed.

What you’ll be doing

As Chief of Staff, you’ll act as the CEO’s strategic partner and operational counterpart. You’ll take vague, complex problems, create structure, and mobilise teams to deliver outcomes. You’ll be central to our US expansion — but your impact will extend across the whole business.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the US market entry from the ground up: design GTM strategy, define hiring needs, set up operations and regulatory structures, and ensure the P&L model is clear and achievable.

  • Take ownership of execution: translate strategy into action plans, keep the “trains running on time”, and ensure accountability across teams.

  • Work across functions as an integrator (Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, People), driving alignment, prioritisation, and delivery of key projects.

  • Establish operational discipline: build scalable processes (reporting, OKRs, dashboards) to keep us focused and fast as we scale.

  • Provide financial oversight: own budgets and forecasts at a US market level, and ensure decision-making is data-driven in partnership with Finance.

  • Support on CEO priorities: from investor relations and board prep, to special projects, partnerships, and external communications.

  • Shape the US team: support hiring, onboarding, and organisational design to ensure early US hires succeed.

  • Be a cultural amplifier: bring energy, charisma, and people-first leadership that others want to rally around.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven operator: 6+ years in senior operations, GM, or strategy & ops roles at scaling startups (ideally Series A–C).

  • Market entry experience: you’ve led the launch of new geographies, ideally the US, and know what it takes to go from nothing to traction.

  • Independent ownership: you take ambiguous goals and run with them end-to-end, creating clarity and momentum without waiting for direction.

  • Strong financial acumen: comfortable with budgets, P&Ls, and forecasts — you can use numbers to drive decisions and spot risks early.

  • Project management at scale: you’ve delivered complex, multi-month, cross-functional projects under pressure.

  • Startup mindset: you’re scrappy, pragmatic, and biased to action — always seeking quick impact while thinking about long-term scalability.

  • Excellent Communication and stakeholder management: you’re a clear, concise communicator who can distil complexity and influence at every level. You’re charismatic, people gravitate to you, and you create momentum in new and unstructured environments.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or board preparation

  • Prior exposure to scaling from ~50–200 headcount

  • Some people management experience

What you’ll get in return

💰 Annual compensation range between $175-250k

📈 Meaningful equity with standard 4-year vesting and 1-year cliff – at Nory everyone is an owner!

📈 401k with company match up to 4%
