Business Development Manager, NW Europe, (m/f/x), SaaS/Greentech
This is more than just a sales role, it’s your opportunity to drive meaningful change in the fashion and textile industry. You’ll use your expertise in B2B sales within Sustainability, Fashion or Supply Chain, to engage with sustainability advocates at leading fashion brands. You’ll open conversations that inspire action. Working across multiple regions your job is to connect your clients with a platform that empowers them to transform their supply chains and embrace transparency.
What you will do
- Build a strategic engagement plan for your assigned territories and execute it effectively
- Ensure professional and consistent messaging as a trusted advisor to target accounts, building a network of contacts
- Collaborate closely with your assigned Account Executives to ensure seamless lead handovers
- Continuously educate yourself about fashion supply chains, sustainability regulations, and industry best practices
- Conduct structured outreach through email sequences, phone calls, LinkedIn, and on-site conferences
- Generate and qualify leads interested in digitalizing and automating their supply chain sustainability engagements
- Conduct initial conversations to understand customer pains and needs, and provide tailored demonstrations of the Retraced solution
- Identify relevant stakeholders and ensure proper discovery of the customer’s pain points and internal decision-making processes

Who you are
- Existing experience in B2B SaaS sales in: Fashion, Supply Chain or Sustainability
- Experienced with sequence messaging and objection handling
- You have experience of qualification Frameworks (BANT and/or MEDDIC)
- Comfortable engaging with long sales cycles (up to two years)
- Skilled at discovering customer pains and needs in initial conversations
- Experienced in conducting product demonstrations tailored to customer needs
- Independent and target-driven, with the ability to work unmonitored
- Well versed in modern lead generation tools and platforms
- Proficient in raising the right questions and ensuring a proper discovery of customer pain points and internal decision-making processes
- Fluent in English
Nice-to-have skills:
- Additional languages beyond English at a fluent level (e.g., Dutch, French, German, Nordic languages)
- Experience with long-term sales strategies and process optimization
