Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Finance Operations Accountant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love problem-solving, and enjoy improving processes, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your day-to-day will include:

• Owning the end-to-end finance operations process — from receivables and payables to payment reconciliations and banking queries.
• Monitoring customer accounts and actively following up on outstanding payments to reduce risk and minimise bad debt.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers, external stakeholders, and banking partners to resolve issues and keep things moving.
• Supporting the month-end close process, including PO management, supplier invoicing, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Product and Engineering to drive automation and streamline processes.
• Identifying operational gaps and recommending improvements to internal workflows and financial controls.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc reports and analysis.
• Pitching in on special projects and tasks as needed — we’re a team that supports each other.

Qualifications

We are ideally seeking:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including handling full-set of accounts.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, with a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
• A proactive mindset and a track record of taking initiative to improve processes and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related qualification.
