Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Verification Associate to join our background screening team. The role involves conducting accurate and timely employment verifications as part of pre-employment background checks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end employment verifications for background screening purposes
Reach out to employers, HR departments, and references via phone, email, and other communication channels
Verify candidate employment details including job titles, tenure, responsibilities, and reasons for leaving
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and client standards
Maintain proper documentation and update verification records in internal systems
Meet defined turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets
Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when required
Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (background screening, verification, BPO, or related field preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and quick-learning environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ( English language )
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and data entry systems

processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Problem-solving mindset with a high level of accountability
Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes quickly
Working Conditions

May require handling high volumes of cases daily
